The UK government has set out ambitions to deliver around 300,000 social and affordable homes through the new £39 billion Social and Affordable Homes Programme, with at least 60% for social rent.
This significant package includes a long-term plan – Delivering a Decade of Renewal for Social and Affordable Housing – about how the government will deliver the biggest boost to social and affordable housebuilding in a generation, alongside driving up the safety and quality of homes.
Our housebuilding and construction expertise has enabled us to carry out affordable housing and care projects on a full turnkey basis whereby we are responsible for the project from design through to the finished, ready-to-operate homes or care facility.
We locate the land in suitable geographical locations and carry out the full planning application process, working closely with the end client on the design of the homes or care facility.
Agreeing the total project value including the land cost upfront takes any risk away from the client.
